The
boat is a
Grand Soleil 48', sloop, built by Del Pardo shipyard, launched in 1990.
It has 4 double cabins, that can accommodate up to 8 guests, 2 baths,
a large saloon, well-equipped galley with oven and two refrigerators,
where the skipper will cook excellent meals.
During
summer, from June to September, Sir Ross will sail to Croatia and Ionic
Greece. Starting from Caorle will reach Zadar, then Split, Vieste, Corfu,
where will arrive in August, and then come back in September to Split
and, at the end, to Venice.
There are many things you can discover going along itineraries through
protected islands, unexpected little ports, unexplored beaches, breath-taking
views, intact woods and noble cities, as Milna, Hvar and Korcula.
Other little villages will be fixed forever in our memory, and so mediterranean
bush scents, in an intimate contact with nature and her cycle of life.
We will find again the pleasure of a varied sailing in Croatian Adriatic
Sea, rich in wind and infinite destinations.
There's no obligation to take part in rigging, but the skipper will
be glad to convey the sailing techniques.
The Ionic Islands of Greece will be the next destination.
The climate is sheltered from disturbances and is characterized by wind
that regularly blows after 13.00 a.m. untill late in the evening, allowing
long sails.
The green islands remain sunny all summer, it never rains and never
comes storms. The archipelago is wonderful, few marinas, but comfortable
and charming villages; splendid, enchanting and most attended bays where
we will stay in the morning to bathe and wait for the wind.
